This page explains how to request deletion of data about you that was obtained through GX Culture Media Data Tool (Meta App ID 1055799074019255).

1. How to request

Send an email to jixing@gxcotw.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request", including:

1. Whether you are the owner of the Facebook Page / Instagram account, or a member of the public who commented or sent a message to it;
2. The Page name or Instagram username concerned;
3. If you are a member of the public, the username you used when you commented or messaged.

2. What happens next

We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days and tell you what data about you we hold. We will complete the deletion and confirm it within 30 days.

3. What is deleted

For an account owner: all data for that account, including metrics, post records, comment and message content, and its presentation in our internal dashboard. For a member of the public: the content of your comments and messages, and your username.

4. Two things we cannot do

We can only delete our own copy. The original content remains on Facebook or Instagram; to remove it there, use the platform directly or contact the account owner. Reports already delivered to a client (for example a spreadsheet already sent by email) cannot be recalled, but we will stop using your data in any subsequent report.

5. An alternative

You may also remove our administrator access to the account directly on Facebook or Instagram, which immediately ends the tool's ability to access it. That does not delete the copy we already hold — for deletion, please email us as described above.
